This Frozen Roasted Green Beans Recipe is so easy to make and takes less than 5 minutes to prep for the oven. They roast to perfection and are then topped with fresh garlic and parmesan cheese as a finishing touch. These green beans are a great weeknight side dish that requires little effort.

  • 10 ounce bag of frozen whole green beans
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded from the block

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, toss the frozen green beans with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Add the green beans to a casserole dish or parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove the green beans from the oven and sprinkle the fresh garlic over the green beans. Top with grated parmesan cheese. Return to the oven and bake for another 8 minutes.
  4. If desired, top with another pinch of salt and pepper. Serve and enjoy.

  • Don't allow the green beans to thaw or they will get mushy when cooking.
  • I highly recommend waiting to add the garlic and cheese at the end, so they don't overcook and you get the best flavors.
