Description
This Frozen Roasted Green Beans Recipe is so easy to make and takes less than 5 minutes to prep for the oven. They roast to perfection and are then topped with fresh garlic and parmesan cheese as a finishing touch. These green beans are a great weeknight side dish that requires little effort.

- 10 ounce bag of frozen whole green beans
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded from the block
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, toss the frozen green beans with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add the green beans to a casserole dish or parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the green beans from the oven and sprinkle the fresh garlic over the green beans. Top with grated parmesan cheese. Return to the oven and bake for another 8 minutes.
- If desired, top with another pinch of salt and pepper. Serve and enjoy.
Notes
- Don't allow the green beans to thaw or they will get mushy when cooking.
- I highly recommend waiting to add the garlic and cheese at the end, so they don't overcook and you get the best flavors.
