Description

Get ready for a big bite of flavor with this Goat Cheese Dip with fresh peaches and mango. It's sweet, a bit spicy, and full of flavor for the perfect Summer appetizer, that's ready to eat in just 15 minutes. No cooking required.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temp
  • 10 ounce original goat cheese
  • 1/4 cup peach preserves
  • 2 ripe peaches, skin on and diced
  • 1 mango, pit and skin removed and diced
  • 1 jalapeno, seeds and stems removed and diced fine
  • 3 tablespoons pistachios, no shell
  • 1 tablespoon hot honey
  • Pita chips or triscuits for dipping

Instructions

  1. Remove the cream cheese from the fridge and allow to sit out at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Dice up the peaches, mango, and jalapeno.
  2. Place the pistachios in a sandwich bag and hit with a mallet to crush into different sizes.
  3. In the stand mixer with beater attachment or in a bowl with hand mixer, whip up the cream cheese for 30 seconds on medium speed. Add in the goat cheese and beat for another minute.
  4. Spread the goat cheese base on the bottom of the serving dish. Cover the goat cheese in a layer of peach preserves. Sprinkle over the peach, mango and jalapeño. Top with crushed pistachios and drizzle the hot honey over the dip.
  5. Serve with pita chips or triscuits for dipping. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  •  Allow the cream cheese to come close to room temperature before whipping with the goat cheese to avoid clumps.
  • This dip tastes best the same day. The fruit will continue to leak out juices, which makes it watery over time.
