Description

These Air Fryer Salmon Bites are so delicious and they cook in minutes. Get ready for the easiest weeknight dinner EVER!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb piece of Salmon, skin removed (I used Atlantic Salmon. If you use Sockeye, it generally cooks a bit faster)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
  • Optional: Lemon wedges for serving and 2 tablespoons fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin from the salmon (tutorial below in expert tips). Pat dry and cut into 1 inch bite sized pieces. Note: Try and cut each piece into similar size chunks for even cooking.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt to create the cajun seasoning. In another large bowl, pour in the olive oil.
  3. Submerge the salmon bites into the olive oil and toss, so that each piece is covered in oil. Use your hands to remove them from the oil and place into the cajun seasoning. Use tongs to make sure the seasoning sticks to every surface of the fish.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees. Once preheated, add the salmon into the basket in a single layer, spreading them apart to have a little space in between. Note: If you like the salmon rare, start with 4 minutes. You can always stick it in the air fryer again, but if you overcook it, that's a bigger problem. I cook mine between 5 and 6 minutes until the internal temperature reads 140 degrees.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Salmon should be cooked at an internal temperature of 140 degrees.
