Description

This Coleslaw for Pulled Pork is an absolute must have side dish for pulled pork bbq plates or load it onto pork sandwiches! This recipe uses only a few ingredients and bagged coleslaw mix & is ready in 5 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 11 ounce tricolor coleslaw bagged mix, throw away the dressing packet if there is one
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (1 tablespoon if you like it sweet)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Into a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar and salt and pepper until nice and creamy.
  2. Toss in the coleslaw mix into the sauce until combined. If possible, refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Look for the freshest bag of coleslaw mix.

If there is large chunks of cabbage, remove them or chop into smaller pieces.

Make sure to whisk the sugar in the sauce really well to prevent any gritty taste in the coleslaw.
