Description
Cranberry Turkey Sliders are the perfect easy meal from all that leftover Thanksgiving turkey! These Turkey Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls are quick and simple to make!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs of leftover thanksgiving turkey, turkey breast or deli meat
- 1/2 cup leftover cranberry sauce, store bought or homemade cranberry sauce
- 6 sandwich slices havarti cheese or 1 cup shredded
- 1 package of Original King's Hawaiian Roll Sliders (12 ct)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons salted butter
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. If the turkey slices are thick, add them onto a cookie sheet and cover with foil. Bake for 8-10 minutes to warm them up. Note: If you are using thinly sliced deli meat, you can skip this step.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls into a top and bottom layer. Add to a cookie sheet. Whisk together the mayonnaise, dijon mustard, salt and pepper and spread on the inside of the top layer. Layer the warm turkey slices on the bottom half.
- Layer cheese over the turkey and spread the cranberry sauce over the cheese. Try to keep the sauce away from the outside edges to avoid it leaking over too much in the oven.
- Add the top half of the rolls over the turkey, cheese and cranberry sauce. Bake for 7 minutes.
- While the sliders are baking, in a skillet over low heat on the stovetop melt the butter. Once melted, turn off the heat and add in honey and parsley. Stir to combine.
- After the sliders are finished baking, brush the honey butter mixture over the top of the sliders. Bake an additional 3 minutes.
- Slice into 12 individual sliders. Serve and enjoy!

Notes
- Don't use too much cranberry sauce or it can get really messy.
- If using thick slices of roasted turkey, bake them first for 8 minutes to make sure they are hot at serving, and use the tin foil to cover and keep the turkey from drying out.
