Ingredients:
Turkey-The star of this recipe and can be from leftover Thanksgiving turkey breast or dark meat. Turkey from the deli can also be used. Basically, just have some form of turkey available.
Cheese-Melts nicely over the turkey breast for a classic slider feel. I suggest Havarti for it's mild taste.
Cranberry Sauce- Homemade cranberry sauce is highly recommend, but store bought works too.
King's Hawaiian Rolls- The softest rolls with just a hint of sweetness. I prefer the Original version with 12 slider rolls.
Mayonnaise and Dijon Mustard- For a simple spread to bring in some flavors to cut the tartness from the cranberry sauce.
Butter, Honey and Parsley- Melted and painted over the top of the rolls for the perfect glaze to bring in savory and sweet.
See the recipe card below for ingredients and quantities.
Substitutions and Variations:
Not big on Havarti cheese? Try Baby Swiss, Brie or Mild Cheddar instead.
No leftover turkey? Use an oven roasted turkey from the deli and layer it a few slices high.
The mayonnaise and dijon mustard spread is optional, and so is the honey butter. If honey butter sounds too sweet, melt butter by itself and brush on for that golden appearance.
If you're buying store bought cranberry sauce, use whole berried instead of jellied.
How to Make Cranberry Turkey Sliders:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. If the turkey slices are thick, add them onto a cookie sheet and cover with foil. Bake for 8-10 minutes to warm them up. Note: If you are using thinly sliced deli meat, you can skip this step.
Step 2: Slice the Hawaiian rolls into a top and bottom layer. Add to a cookie sheet. Whisk together the mayonnaise, dijon mustard, salt and pepper and spread on the inside of the top layer. Layer the warm turkey slices on the bottom half.
Step 3: Layer cheese over the turkey and spread the cranberry sauce over the cheese. Try to keep the sauce away from the outside edges to avoid it leaking over too much in the oven.
Step 4: Add the top half of the rolls over the turkey, cheese and cranberry sauce. Bake for 7 minutes.
Step 5: While the sliders are baking, in a skillet over low heat on the stovetop melt the butter. Once melted, turn off the heat and add in honey and parsley. Stir to combine.
Step 6: After the sliders are finished baking, brush the honey butter mixture over the top of the sliders. Bake an additional 3 minutes.
Step 7: Slice into 12 individual sliders.
Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
Expert Tips:
- Don't use too much cranberry sauce or it can get really messy.
- If using thick slices of roasted turkey, bake them first for 8 minutes to make sure they are hot at serving, and use the tin foil to cover and keep the turkey from drying out.

Recipe FAQs:
Leftover cranberry sauce is tart and delicious and serves as a great spread over sandwiches like these turkey sliders. Also, try cranberries with puff pastry in these cranberry brie bites.
These sliders are best fresh. However, you can store the sliders in a sealed container or wrapped in foil in the fridge for up to 2 days.
The best way to reheat sliders is in the oven on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until hot.
