Description

This Lime Aioli Sauce is creamy and loaded with flavors from fresh lime juice, cilantro, garlic, avocado and more. This Cilantro Lime Aioli is amazing for drizzling over tacos, fish, chicken, on sandwiches or nachos. Plus, it's ready in just 5 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • juice from 1/2 a lime
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1/2 an avocado, skin and pit removed, cut into chunks to make it easier to blend
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, rinsed and dried
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh jalapeño, seeds and membrane removed (or 5 slices of pickled jalapeño)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 /2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into the food processor.
  2. Start the food processor on low and slowly work up to high speed. Stop the machine and scrape down the sides, then pulse a few more times to make sure everything is smooth and pureed.
  3. Pour the aioli into a container and store in the fridge or enjoy right away. Serve on tacos, nachos, sandwiches and more.

Notes

  • If you're sensitive to spice, be sure to remove the seeds and membranes of the jalapeño.
  • If the mixture is having a hard time blending, add in 1 tablespoon of water to make it easier to mix.
