Description
These Oven Baked Ham and Swiss Cheese Croissants are so easy to prep in just minutes. Pop them in the oven and they'll come out with gooey melted cheese on a buttery baked croissant. An absolute must try recipe with minimal ingredients needed!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large croissants
- 12 deli slices of ham, about 1/2 lb sliced
- 8 deli slices of baby swiss cheese
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, I prefer Hellmann's brand
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Slice the croissants in half into a top and bottom. Spread the crossiants out on a cookie sheet leaving them opened up. Layer on 3 slices of ham onto the bottom half and cover with a slice of cheese. Cover the top half with another slice of cheese. Note: I rip each slice of cheese into two pieces, so it covers the sandwich better without melting off.
- In a small bowl, stir together the dijon mustard, mayonnaise and salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Bake for 7-10 minutes until the cheese is nice and melted.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon of sauce onto the top of each croissant over the cheese. Cover the top half over the bottom half.
- Slice in half if desired. Serve and enjoy!
Equipment
Notes
- Don't add the sauce until after baking. It dries up in the oven.
- Keep an eye on the croissants while baking because they can burn quick.
