Description
Dunk these Watermelon Fries into a coconut lime yogurt dip for the best snack. It's so quick and easy to make with no cooking required.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 quarter of a large watermelon
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 5 ounce container of coconut yogurt, I recommend Chobani or Siggis
- Optional: A pinch of lime zest for topping the yogurt dip
Instructions
- Place the pink portion of the quartered watermelon onto the cutting board so it's easier to slice. Carefully use a large knife to cut lengthwise every two inches to create half circle slices of watermelon.
- Cut off the outer rind with a regular knife, leaving just the pink watermelon flesh.
- Using the Crinkle Cutter Knife, cut into one inch strips with the knife running top to bottom on the shorter portion. If you do it lengthwise, the fries will fall apart because they will be too long.
- Repeat until all the fries are cut.
- Add the fresh lime juice into the yogurt container and stir to combine.
- Top the yogurt dip with lime zest if desired. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Don't cut the fries too long or they will fall apart in the dip.
- If you don't have the crinkle knife, simply slice into sticks with a regular knife.
- Buy a Seedless Watermelon if possible for easy eating.
