Description
These DIY Pizza Lunchables are so easy to make and my kids love them even more than the pre-packaged store-bought Lunchables. Add the kids favorite toppings to a bento box and they can make their own pizzas for a really fun lunch experience.
Ingredients
Scale
- 5 mini Stonefire Naan breads
- 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3 tablespoons marinara sauce
- 10 pepperonis
Instructions
- Place 5 Naan dippers into the largest part of the box. Shred the fresh mozzarella cheese and pack into a large portion of the bento box. Spoon the marinara sauce in another large section, then add the pepperoni or other toppings to the smaller section.
- Pack in the lunch boxes and don't forget to pack a spoon for the sauce and napkins. That's it! I like to add an ice pack to the lunch box to keep it nice and fresh.
Notes
- Make sure the bento box is completely dry after washing and before adding the ingredients. They love to carry little beads of water in the corners and it will make the naan bread soggy.
- Shred the cheese in the morning for the best taste. Cheese loves to get hard and crusty in the fridge if not sealed properly.
- Make sure to place the marinara sauce into a portion of the bento box that isn't too small to work from and pack a spoon so it's easy for the kiddos to prep.
- Don't forget the napkin! Kids love to make a hot mess with the marinara sauce.
