Description

Ranch Dill Oyster Crackers are the easiest recipe and use only a few ingredients to make the best snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 ounce bag of oyster crackers (original with salt)
  • 2 tablespoons Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 tablespoons salted butter (1 stick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, whisk together ranch seasoning, dried dill, paprika, cumin and salt until combined.
  2. In a large skillet over low heat, melt the butter and add in the hot sauce. Turn off the heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
  3. Transfer the butter and hot sauce to a bowl and pour in the seasoning. Whisk to combine.
  4. Add the oyster crackers into a large bowl and pour the butter with seasoning over the crackers. Gently toss with a spoon to coat the crackers in the butter and spices.
  5. Transfer the oyster crackers onto a cookie sheet and spread into an even layer. Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden.
  6. Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and allow it to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before eating, then enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure the butter is warm still when pouring over the crackers or it won't spread well.
  • The seasoning spreads onto the crackers much better when whisked in with the warm melted butter.
  • Spread the crackers out into an even layer on the cookie sheet. If you're making two batches, you'll need two cookie sheets for them to bake correctly.
