Ingredients:
Oyster Crackers: Any brand works for this recipe, but the premium brand is my favorite for it's salty and crisp taste.
Butter: I recommend salted butter for this recipe. If you have grass fed butter, like Kerrigold on hand, that will make the taste even richer.
Ranch Powder: The Hidden Valley Ranch dressing powder adds a ton of flavor to this recipe. Find it near the dressings in a packet, like taco seasoning, or a small bottle if you want to buy a larger amount. Try this Fried Pickle Ranch Dip & Copycat Wingstop Ranch too.

Substitutions and Variations:
- For a spicier version, add in a Ā¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper into the seasoning mix, or add more hot sauce into the butter.
- Unsalted butter can be used, but I recommend adding an extra Ā½ teaspoon of salt into the seasoning mix.

How to Make Ranch Dill Oyster Crackers:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, whisk together ranch seasoning, dried dill, paprika, cumin and salt until combined.
Step 2: In a large skillet over low heat, melt the butter and add in the hot sauce. Turn off the heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
Step 3: Transfer the butter and hot sauce to a bowl and pour in the seasoning. Whisk to combine.
Step 4: Add the oyster crackers into a large bowl and pour the butter with seasoning over the crackers. Gently toss with a spoon to coat the crackers in the butter and spices.
Step 5: Transfer the oyster crackers onto a cookie sheet and spread into an even layer. Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden.
Step 6: Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and allow it to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before eating, then enjoy!
Expert Tips:
- Make sure the butter is warm still when pouring over the crackers or it won't spread well.
- The seasoning spreads onto the crackers much better when whisked in with the warm melted butter.
- Spread the crackers out into an even layer on the cookie sheet. If you're making two batches, you'll need two cookie sheets for them to bake correctly.

Recipe FAQs:
It depends on your preference, but I like to let them cool to room temperature. If you're packaging them in containers or bags, let them cool off first to avoid any steam in the bags.
Store in a sealed container or ziplock baggies for up to 3-4 days on the countertop or pantry.
I recommend visiting hobby lobby for a cute selection of tin cans or Christmas themed baggies and tons of ribbon. It's my favorite place to finish off handmade gifts.
