Description

Hydrating Watermelon Water is healthy, with no added sugars, and is the perfect way to stay refreshed all Summer long. Minimal ingredients come together for a water that you'll actually be excited to drink. Plus, it takes under 10 minutes to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups of fresh watermelon, cut into cubes
  • juice from 1/2 a lime
  • 11 ounce coconut water
  • 2 cups water
  • sprig of fresh mint, rinsed and dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • 2 cups ice

Instructions

  1. Add the fresh watermelon cubes into the blender and blend on high or pulse until smooth.
  2. Using a fine mash strainer, pour the watermelon juice in small increments into the strainer over a bowl to remove seeds and pulp. Use the bottom of a spoon to run over the top of the pulp to help push the juices through. Discard the pulp and seeds.
  3. Add the ice into a pitcher. Pour in strained watermelon juice, lime juice, water, coconut water and add in the mint sprig and pinch of salt. Stir or shake to combine.
  4. Pour the watermelon water over ice in a glass and enjoy!

Notes

  • I highly recommend straining the watermelon juice to avoid seeds and pulp in the water.
  • Serving it over ice makes it ready to drink right away.
  • This juice isn't pasteurized, which means it doesn't last long in the fridge. I prefer enjoying it within 24 hours for the safest option.
