Description

Watermelon margaritas should be labeled "the drink of summer." This cocktail is light, refreshing and will hit the spot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 c. frozen chunks of watermelon. I just cut it up and threw it in the freezer early afternoon. It was almost frozen solid by dinner.
  • 3 oz of tequila (*I used silver patron)
  • Juice of one large lime
  • 1 tbs honey
  • 1 c. ice
  • You need salt for all around that rim

Instructions

  1. Prep your margarita or cocktail glasses. I used a plate, and squeezed a little of my lime juice onto one side and salt on the other. Roll your rim in the lime juice, then in the salt.
  2. Blend your watermelon, tequila, lime juice, honey, and ice into the blender to create the most delightful frozen watermelon margarita.

Notes

Make sure the watermelon is frozen for this recipe.
