Avocado Cream Sauce

Description

This avocado cream sauce or avocado crema is tangy and delicious! It is the perfect topping for tacos, nachos, enchiladas, quesadillas or even burgers. The recipe only takes 5 minutes to make!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 avocado
  • 3/4 cup sour cream (or plain greek yogurt)
  • juice from 1 lime
  • 1 cup packed of cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Begin by roughly chopping the garlic clove and cilantro. Slice the lime and avocado in half.
  2. Into a food processor or blender, add in the sour cream, scoop out the avocado, lime juice, cilantro, garlic, cumin, and salt.
  3. Pulse a few times and place on high for 30 seconds until throughly blended.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use within 3 days. It tastes great on tacos, salads, or enchiladas!
