Description

This Mango Mojito is the ideal Summer Cocktail. It combines mango, lime and mint together for the perfect summer feel. This is a must try warm weather drink!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 mint leaves, washed and dried
  • 3 ounces white or clear rum
  • juice from 1/2 a lime
  • 6 ounces mango nectar
  • 1 ounce simple syrup (optional: if you like sweet, add it)
  • 4 to 6 ounces of club soda (depends on the size of glass you use)
  • Additional lime slices and mint sprigs for garnish (optional)
  • ice 

Instructions

Into a shaker, add in the mint leaves and muddle. Twist the muddler into the mint leaves about 5 times to release juice. Once you begin to smell the strong mint, you can stop. You don't want to shred the leaves.

Add in the simple syrup, mango nectar, rum, juice from 1/2 a lime and top with ice. Shake this up well.

Fill two cocktail glasses with ice. Pour the shaker ingredients over the top to a little over half full.

Top with club soda.

Add lime wedge and mint sprig to garnish. Enjoy this delicious cocktail!

Notes

When muddling the mint, you are looking for a fragrant smell without shredding the mint leaves. Once you can smell the strong mint smell, you can stop muddling.
