This Mango Mojito is the ideal Summer Cocktail. It combines mango, lime and mint together for the perfect summer feel. Just like my Blue Curacao Mojito, this is a must try drink and it comes together in just minutes!
I have been told previously that I'm a bartender's nightmare because I always order a mojito. It's my favorite cocktail.
Since I don't have a million orders coming in like a bartender, I actually enjoy making them at home. The only extra step from a usual cocktail is muddling the mint, which is actually pretty fun. Plus, it's so tasty. Trust me, you have to try this one!

The Ingredients:
White or Clear Rum- This particular Plantation 3 Stars Rum has a very light flavor and is perfect for a mojito.
Mint- Muddled to release a mild mint flavor. This drink only has a touch of mint. If you want a really strong taste, you can increase the amount of leaves.
Mango Nectar- Sweetened mango puree is added for a delicious splash of mango flavor.
Simple Syrup- (Optional) Adds a bit of sweetness. * I prefer my mojitos on the sweeter side.
Lime- For a citrus kick and a traditional ingredient in mojitos.
Club Soda- Used for topping off the mojito and adds a bubbly component to the cocktail.
Substitutions and Variations:
Not crazy on sweet drinks? Leave out the simple syrup.
Want a stronger mojito? Double the rum. I'm a lightweight and make my drinks accordingly.
How to Make this Easy Mango Mojito:
Step 1: Muddle the Mint
Into a shaker, add in the mint leaves and muddle. Twist the muddler into the mint leaves about 5 times to release juice. Once you begin to smell the strong mint, you can stop. You don't want to shred the leaves.
Step 2: Add Cocktail Ingredients
Add in the simple syrup, mango nectar, rum, juice from ½ a lime and top with ice. Shake this up well.
Step 3: Fill Glasses
Fill two cocktail glasses with ice. Pour the shaker ingredients over the top to a little over half full.
Step 4: Add Club Soda
Top the drinks with club soda.
Step 5: Add a lime wedge and mint sprig to garnish. Enjoy this delicious cocktail!
Expert Tips:
When muddling the mint, you are looking for a fragrant smell without shredding the mint leaves. Once you can smell the strong mint smell, you can stop muddling.

Recipe FAQs:
I like my mojito on the sweeter side, but not too sweet. If you don't like sweet at all, I suggest cutting the mango nectar in half, leaving out the simple syrup and using a larger glass to pour in more club soda.
You are looking for a clear or white rum. I used Plantation 3 Stars Rum, which is delicious and I highly recommend. It ranks number 1 on the 16 best rums for mojitos by Tastingtable.com too. It's worth a try!
Absolutely! You will be looking at your average mojito then, which isn't a bad thing. Just leave out the mango nectar and you can add in more simple syrup according to the sweetness you like.
You can use the back of a wooden spoon. If you are interested in purchasing one, you can find the link to the cocktail shaker, which comes with a muddler in the recipe card below. It is fairly inexpensive, and I use my kit all the time.
It is in the international section at the grocery store. This was the Goya brand.
