These Rice Krispie treats with fluff are delish! They're super similar to the classic recipe, but a bit lighter and less chewy. The Marshmallow Cream or Fluff brings in something really special. They're a kid favorite too!

Ingredients:
Rice Krispie Cereal: A must have for rice krispie treats. I suggest the Kellogg's brand for this recipe. Make sure they are really fresh for that crisp taste.
Butter: Brings in a savory flavor to balance out the sweetness from the fluff. If you can use a grass-fed or Irish butter, it has a bit more flavor and depth, versus regular butter.
Marshmallow Cream or Marshmallow Fluff: Either works great in this recipe. I used the Jet Puffed Marshmallow Creme and had great results. The texture should be almost identical for Marshmallow cream and Marshmallow fluff.

How to Make Rice Krispie Treats with Marshmallow Fluff:
Step 1: Line the bottom of an 8x8 pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 2: In a large pot, melt the butter over medium low heat.
Step 3: Add in the marshmallow fluff and stir for a few minutes to combine with the butter and warm it up.
Step 4: Turn off the heat on the stovetop. Pour in the rice krispie cereal and stir until combined.
Step 5: Pour the rice krispie mixture into the 8x8 pan. Slice a large piece of parchment paper and lay it on top of the rice krispie treats and press down with your hands to pack them down into the pan and even them out. Note: It's important to really pack them in so they don't fall apart when sliced.
Step 6: Add sprinkles if desired. Allow the rice krispies to sit for an hour, preferably 2 hours before slicing into squares.
Step 7: Slice into squares or rectangles and enjoy!
Expert Tips:
- Use an 8x8 pan for this recipe. A 9x13 will result in really thin rice krispie treats.
- To avoid the rice krispie squares from falling apart, it's really important to press down on the surface of the rice krispies with parchment paper to pack them into the pan.
- Allow the rice krispies to sit for at least 1 hour before slicing them.

Store in a sealed container or ziplock bags in the pantry or on the countertop for up to 4 days. You can also store them in the fridge, but they get pretty hard when cold.
