Frequently Asked Questions About The Recipe:
My absolute favorite is creamy balsamic dressing, which only takes 5 minutes to whip up. Also, my honey vinaigrette is amazing as well, which is used in my roasted pear salad. If you are short on time, go with a similar store bought dressing. Raspberry vinaigrette would be yummy!
Add in some grilled chicken or even easier, add store bought shredded rotisserie chicken. Bake salmon or shrimp on the side for a full meal. This would be a great side salad to go with my crispy chicken recipe.
I love feta cheese for its saltiness to balance the sweetness of the berries. Blue cheese is also excellent for its pungent taste.
Popular Substitutions or Additions:
If you don't like feta cheese, blue cheese is delicious with this recipe.
You can also add in blackberries, raspberries or mandarin oranges.
A great substitution for the pecans would be walnuts; although, the two together would also be fantastic.
If you're not crazy about Arugula, go with baby spinach or spring mix.
Lots of options here!
The Ingredients:
Baby Arugula- Tiny greens with a peppery bite. You can go with a pre-washed package like in the picture above to save on time.
Strawberries and Blueberries- Sweet berries toss into this salad perfectly. If you decide to make it in the Spring and Summer season, they should be extra juicy and cost less too.
Crumbled Feta- Salty, crumbly cheese that balances out the sweet fruit for the best combo.
Pecans- For added protein and a nutty crunch

I make something very similar to this. 😋 All the fruit, nut and greens substitutions are great, also dried cranberries! My favorite dressing for this - add Some fresh chopped basil leaves, then toss it with a light coat of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena (the Kroger brand is the best I've found... It's sweet), extra Virgin olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano right before serving! 😋
