This easy Oreo Ice Cream Recipe is no churn and made in minutes without a machine. Only five ingredients combine to create the creamiest, rich, and decadent ice cream.
I couldn't believe how easy homemade ice cream actually was when I started making it. It was one of those food items that I just wrote off as incredibly hard to make at home. I was so wrong!
Store bought ice cream contains a lot of extra ingredients and preservatives, so why not make your own! It's super fun to make, takes less than 15 minutes, and who doesn't love a good cookies and cream ice cream recipe.

Ingredients:
Sweetened Condensed Milk- Sugary milk that sweetens the ice cream and makes it creamy. The condensed milk allows us to skip the eggs and still get the creamy texture.
Heavy whipping cream-High in fat content and allows the ice cream to get creamy and thick, without forming an icy texture.
Vanilla Extract-For a hint of vanilla flavor.
Pinch of salt- Helps to keep the ice cream colder.
Oreos- The star of the show and adds the perfect chocolatey & creamy bite to this ice cream flavor!
*You also need either a stand mixer or hand mixer & an ice cream container (The one I used is linked below in the recipe card.)

Here are the Step by Step Instructions for this Oreo Ice Cream.
Step 1: Place the oreos in a gallon sized plastic bag and whack with the flat edge of a mallet until you have some larger and smaller chunks. An alternative is to use a food processor. I prefer the first method because I like the variety of shapes and sizes of cookies.
Step 2: In a large bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and salt. Stir & set aside.
Step 3: In another bowl or in the stand mixer, add 2 cups of heavy cream and mix with mixer until stiff peaks form. It should look like whipped cream when you are finished. It took me about 6 to 7 minutes on medium high in my stand mixer to get the desired consistency.
Step 4: Fold your whipped cream into the sweetened condensed milk mixture. You don’t want to stir heavily here, but do fold it several times to make sure it is mixed together well.
Step 5: Add in the Oreos and fold to combine.
Step 6: Pour the ice cream into the ice cream tub. Put the lid on and freeze at least 6 hours (for softer serve) or overnight (for a harder ice cream).
Step 7: Enjoy!
Recipe FAQs:
No churn usually means there are no eggs in the recipe, and instead the recipe calls for sweetened condensed milk. It also doesn't require an ice cream machine, which is AWESOME!
It depends on your preference, but the longer you wait, the harder the ice cream will become. The ice cream will melt quicker & be softer with only a 6 hour freeze time. I prefer to freeze it overnight.
No, it does not. My no churn ice cream recipe doesn't have any eggs and it still has a nice and creamy texture.
Absolutely! If you are looking for just vanilla ice cream, leave out the oreos.
How Long does the Ice Cream Stay Fresh:
In the appropriate container, it stays fresh for 3 to 4 days. After that, the ice cream becomes a bit icy, so eat up. Don't worry, it will be easy because it's so stinking good!
