These No Bake Oreo Truffles are the perfect Holiday treat for Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter and more! They're so easy to make with just 4 ingredients and come together in under an hour.
"Dangerous" is what my husband called these truffles because he couldn't stop eating them! They are seriously so good with a cream cheese and Oreo center and coated in milk chocolate. It's like truffle meets cake pop.
I'll use whatever toppings I have on hand, whether it's sprinkles or m&ms. It's almost Valentine's Day right now, so it was pink and red, but these are fabulous for any holiday.

Ingredients:
Oreos: I like the original regular Oreos from Nabisco, not double stuffed. Try and buy name brand if you can. Make sure to leave the frosting inside. We want it all.
Cream Cheese: A full fat cream cheese works best for this recipe, softened on the countertop for about 1 hour before starting the recipe.
Milk Chocolate Melting Wafers: The Ghirardelli is my favorite quality of melting chocolate and I highly recommend it. I don't suggest using chocolate chips for this recipe because they like a seize up fast and don't allow enough time for dunking all of these truffles.
See the recipe card below for the full list of ingredients and quantities.
Substitutions and Variations:
Feel free to swap the milk chocolate melting wafers out with dark chocolate or white chocolate melting wafers.
M&M's, mini chocolate chips or any kind of sprinkles work great for topping. Choose your favorites! You could also drizzle these with white chocolate at the end.

How to Make No Bake Oreo Truffles:
Step 1: Add 36 Oreo cookies into a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs. Remove about half of the cookie crumbs to a bowl.
Step 2: Add 4 ounces of softened cream cheese into the food processor and blend on high until combined. Transfer to a large bowl. Return the other ½ of the cookie crumbs back into the food processor with 4 ounces of cream cheese and blend on high until combined. Note: We're doing 2 batches to save the machine. I tried doing it all at once and my food processor was really struggling.
Step 3: Transfer 2nd batch to same bowl as the first batch.
Step 4: Roll the cream cheese & oreo mixture into about 1 tablespoon sized balls and transfer to a plate lined with parchment paper. Once you've rolled all of them (I got about 22), add them into the freezer for 30 minutes.
Step 5: After 30 minutes, line the countertop with a piece of parchment paper, about the size of a cookie sheet. Melt the melting chocolate in the top of a double boiler over medium heat or in the microwave according to instructions on the package. Take the truffle balls from the freezer and one by one, roll the truffles into the chocolate using a fork to help you cover them. Transfer to parchment paper.
Step 6: After rolling 2-3 truffles, quickly add sprinkles or m&ms before they harden.

Step 7: Allow the truffles to harden completely on the counter for about 10 minutes, then serve and enjoy! These taste really good at room temperature or cold.
Expert Tips:
- Unless you have a really large food processor, it's easier on the machine to work in two batches.
- Don't skip the freezing part or the Oreo portion will fall apart in the chocolate.
- Make sure to add toppings, like sprinkles or m&ms after dipping every two to three truffles or the chocolate will harden and nothing will stick to them.

Recipe FAQs:
They're easier to work with and stay melted longer with a creamier texture. An alternative is chocolate chips with a few teaspoons of coconut oil, but you'll need to work quickly.
Store in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 3 days.
If using a double boiler, simply turn the heat back onto low and stir. You can also stick it back into the microwave for a few seconds and stir. However, if the chocolate has come into contact with water, it may seize up and not return to the right texture. I've done this before and it involves a store run for another bag of melting chocolate.
