Ingredients:

Apple Cider: Mayer Bros. brand has a close place to my heart because my dad actually worked there when he was a kid. It also tastes the best in my opinion, and this gala blend was really good. You can use any of your favorite apple cider though.

Substitutions and Variations:
- Feel free to leave off the cinnamon and sugar rim if you're in a hurry.
- To make them sweeter, double or triple the amount of maple syrup.
- Want an alcoholic version? Add in two shots of Bourbon before blending.
How to Make Apple Cider Slushies:

Step 1: Prepare two small plates and two large glasses (enough to hold 10-12 ounces). On plate one, pour two tablespoons of apple cider onto the center of it. On plate two, mix together the cinnamon and sugar until well blended. Take two glasses and dip a portion of the rim in apple cider, then cinnamon and sugar.

Step 2: Set the glasses aside while making the slushies.

Step 3: Into the blender, add in the apple cider, ice, and maple syrup.

Step 4: Blend on high or pulse until smooth with no remaining ice chunks.

Step 5: Carefully pour the apple cider slushies into the glasses, avoiding touching the rim where the cinnamon and sugar is. Serve and enjoy!
Expert Tips:
- If the slushies look too watery, add in 1 cup of ice at a time until you get the desired texture.
- Serve right away before the slush melts.
