Ingredients:

Cottage Cheese: The Daisy brand worked great for this recipe and I used the 4% fat version.
For dipping, I love the combination of Stonefire naan dippers (soft and chewy) with Bruschetti (crunchy with a hint of garlic).
Substitutions and Variations:
- Add more of your favorite toppings to this dip. I love adding chopped peppadew piquante peppers for a sweet and spicy crunch.
- Feel free to swap out the parmesan cheese for another cheese, like feta or pepper jack.
- You could also substitute regular pepperoni with turkey pepperoni.
- If you can't find the naan dippers at your store, you could also cut pita bread into small triangles.
- Don't have a food processor? The blender should work just fine!

How to Make Pizza Dip:

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Into the food processor, add in the cottage cheese and spices.

Step 2: Blend on high, then pulse a few times until smooth.

Step 3: To assemble the pizza dip, spread the cottage cheese mixture into the bottom of a pie plate. Top with the pizza sauce. Next, top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Lastly, add on the pepperoni. Place the pie plate onto a cookie sheet (to avoid spills) and bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are nice and crispy.

Step 4: Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Top with basil. Serve with Bruschettini crackers and naan dippers and enjoy! *I like to set a spoon next to the dish too, because sometimes it's better to scoop onto the naan bread.
Expert Tips:
- Shred the cheeses from a block for the best melt. The pre-shredded cheese has anti-caking agents in it that doesn't melt well.
- Be super careful when removing the pizza dip from the oven. It's very easy to spill out of the pie plate (basically hot lava at the end of cooking), which is why I recommend sitting it on a cookie sheet to bake.

I'm not a big fan either, but loved this one too! If it's blended up it changes my ideas about it, haha!
