Ingredients:
Ranch Seasoning Powder- For seasoning this Buttermilk Ranch Dressing. The powder combines salt, garlic, onion and more. I highly suggest using the Hidden Valley brand to get the correct taste. I used the homestyle flavor.
Mayonnaise-Used to get the perfect texture. I like Hellmann's mayo, but if you are a Duke's fan, you do you.
Buttermilk- Paired with the mayonnaise, the buttermilk gets this ranch to the best consistency and brings in tangy and rich flavors. Wing Stop Ranch is known to have a thinner consistency, and the buttermilk helps with that. I prefer the full fat version.

Substitutions and Variations:
- For the buttermilk, you can use full fat or low fat.
- Love heat? Add in several dashes of your favorite hot sauce or a little sriracha to make this ranch spicy.
- Big on garlic? Add a few cloves of minced garlic to the mix.
- Add a teaspoon of fresh dill for an extra flavor boost.
How to Make Wing Stop Ranch Dressing:
Step 1: Add the Ranch powder into a large bowl and whisk to remove any chunks.
Step 2: Pour in the mayonnaise, salt and pepper, and ½ cup of the buttermilk. Whisk to combine. Then, slowly pour in the remaining buttermilk until you get the desired consistency. Note: I use all of it, but if you want it thicker, you may want to use just half.
Step 3: Pour the ranch into a glass jar or mason jar and store in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Step 4: Enjoy with pizza, wings, salads and more!
Expert Tips:
- Add the buttermilk slowly until you get the right consistency. Wing Stop is known for being thinner is consistency, but if you don't want that, just add in a little less buttermilk.
- If the ranch gets too thin, add a few tablespoons of mayonnaise to thicken it.
Try serving this ranch dressing with my Crispy Chicken Burgers or drizzled over these Veggie Nachos.
Recipe FAQs:
If the ranch dressing gets too thin, whisk in a tablespoon of mayonnaise at a time until thickened. You can also add in sour cream, but it will be a little more tangy tasting.
Ranch cools the spicy flavors down in chicken wings, while adding the most creamy delicious textures. It's the perfect match and a great combo.
Store the ranch dressing in a sealed container in the fridge. I like to use a mason jar because it fits perfectly and stays really fresh.
Use the homemade ranch within one week and don't dip anything directly into the container. Pour it as needed when serving.
